the "soft focus" effect looks kind of cool on some of those... condensation on the camera lens, perhaps?

No idea. I guess I'm blissfully ignorant of camera terms. The waterfall pictures were taken in the direction of the sun, I think.

Um, nope. I'm not sure what you mean, but I don't think anything's wrong with the camera.

you don't see a difference between the first, crystal-clear picture with the flowers, and all the other pictures that are weirdly blurry and hazy? if this is just a regular camera, make sure the lens is clean. trust me.
