Some cities, but not many, are impossible to pin down. Here you might get lost for some time on eight-lane highways ...

   

... until you stumble into some trees ...

... and end up in suburbia. Or rather, Suburbia.

Below is a garden along the Avenida Francisco Sosa. My guidebook informs me it is "one of the most beautiful streets in the city and also one of the oldest."

This is the Avenida Insurgentes, one of the city's major arteries. It is cluttered with restaurants and specialty shops:

In every neighborhood you will catch a glimpse of a church ...
